| LTSC is a family orientated Sailing Club which provides a wide range of Social, Sailing and Information Services to its members. Our younger members particularly enjoy sailing at the Salterns (a small enclosed area of shallow water), joining in the Easter Egg Hunt and Christmas Party. For teenagers there is the opportunity to join in Saturday Sailing, participate in dinghy racing on Wednesday Evenings and Sunday mornings, learn how to drive a RIB: many have excelled in both Sailing and RIB competitions. There is a group of very active members who either work flexi time or are retired and enjoy the Meanderers which gather each Wednesday morning at the club and then go on trips to various parts of the Solent in their yachts or motor boats and later recount the stories of their exploits in the Solent Room which provides stunning views of the River, Solent and Isle of Wight. The social scene is very active with Sailing Suppers, quizzes, dances, special dinners, Annual Ball and annual trip to Cowes to watch the Fireworks display at the end of Cowes Week
