Many people mistakenly believe that Elvis Presley is dead, but we are proud to announce that he has been booked to make a personal appearance in the Solent Room in March. The evening will begin with a curry
supper after which Elvis will perform many of his classic songs, then, after the interval, Elvis will amaze us all
with his impression of Steve Marks (a singer from Lytchett Matravers) to whom he bears a striking During the second half of the show we will be encouraged to join in and dance. Tickets are £14 and available from Feb 12th in the office |

Winter Talks programme 2009/10
Talks run each Wednesday evening in the Solent Room, open to members and non members.
1830 - Bar and Restaurant open, 1945 Talks commence. Come early to ensure a seat.
A voluntary contribution of £1.50 will be requested to offset fees and expenses.
